§ 16-26. Food service establishments.

(a)

No business license shall be issued or granted to any food service establishment until the establishment has met the minimum requirements of the county health department and a valid food service permit has been obtained in accordance with O.C.G.A. § 26-2-371.

(b)

No business license issued or granted to any food service establishment shall be transferred from one person to another or from one location to another until such new business or location has obtained a new permit as required in subsection (a) above.

(c)

No business license shall be renewed for any food service establishment that has failed to obtain a food service permit or if the food service permit for the establishment has been suspended or revoked.
