§ 11-2. Driving while under influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • It is unlawful and punishable by confinement in the city jail and/or a fine not exceeding the state limit for any person to:

    (1)

    Drive any vehicle on the streets and roads of this city while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, beer, wine or other beverages;

    (2)

    Drive any vehicle on the streets and roads of this city while under the influence of any narcotic drug, or under the influence of any other drug to a degree which renders him incapable of safely driving a vehicle.
